October 2026 Release notes
Casambi Pro for Windows 44.0.3
Casambi Pro for iOS 2.0.0 build 1655
New Features
Network-Level Scenes
-
Scene construction and management:
Starting with the October 2026 release, scenes can include luminaire groups from anywhere within the network. In previous Casambi Pro versions, scenes were restricted to a single space. -
Controller scene targeting:
Sensors, switches, and schedules can now control any scene across the entire network. Previously, they could only control elements within their own parent space.
A space template is a completely self-contained, independent object with no dependencies outside its own scope. Consequently, space templates can only include scenes and groups that reside entirely within the template itself. A scene in a space template (or a space instance created from a template) cannot include luminaire groups from outside the space. Because of this, you cannot create a space template from a space containing network level scenes. However, external controllers can still reference scenes within a space instance created from a space template.
Due to this architectural change, you must update existing projects by opening and saving them in Casambi Pro for Windows. This is a one-time requirement per project.
